Question #8

Answer:
Question #9
What does the green frame around my screen mean?
Answer:
Through sophisticated technology, Verification Engine matches company logo's or log-in boxes to legitimate company sites. So now you can authenticate that the site you are visiting actually is from the company it claims to be.
Question #10
What if I don't see a see green border when I roll the mouse over the logo?
Answer:
It can mean a few things, but usually you just need to wait until the page fully loads before you try and verify the web content. Once the page loads, then you should be able to see the green border around protected content when you roll over the logo.
At InterBank, we integrated this technology into the pages that we wanted to ensure were protected. This includes pages that have our logo, log-in boxes or our rate pages. If after the page loads you still don't see a green border, it could mean that the site did not protect that specific content. Today, larger sites and most banks are registered with us and you will see the green border if you roll your mouse over the logo on the first page of these larger sites. Question #11
The green border does not show up on all the web pages I browse
- why?
Answer:
Some merchants only have a few pages verified with Comodo. As a double check
- only input sensitive data on pages where their logo or log-in box can be verified and where you see a
'padlock' symbol in your browser. This symbol indicates you have a secure encrypted session with the server you are on.
Question #12
The green border does not show up right away - why?
Answer:
Verification Engine will work once the entire page has loaded. If you tried to verify a logo or log-in box when your computer was still getting the content from the site, it will not verify the contents. Simply try again when the page has fully loaded.
Question #13
The green border does not show up on all content I am trying to verify
- only specific content - why?
Answer:
Websites owners choose what content they wish to have verified and often only specific elements of a site are enabled to be authenticated. Typically, logos, log-in boxes and sensitive information are verified. General content is often not enabled by the merchants for verification.
Question #14
Verification Engine tool will not work with my Internet Explorer?
Answer:
We recommend that you use Internet Explorer 5.01 or above.
Question #15
Are other browsers supported?
Answer:
Currently the Verification Engine tool will work with Internet Explorer, AOL, Netscape and Mozilla Firefox
Question #16
