Our Philosophy
The vision of InterBank's leadership was to create a bank that offers highly competitive rates without gimmicks or flashy deals that disappear once the customer is through the door. Instead, our banking philosophy is demonstrated every day in the competitive rates we offer and the personal relationships we build.

Our customers also want premium service. To that end, we believe in getting to know our customers so we can assist with their financial health.

Of course, none of the business we do would be possible without our employees. InterBank's leaders have worked hard to create an environment that values, sustains and empowers its employees. We have had almost no turnover in the past decade, and our people remain one of our greatest strengths.

Our Story
We first opened our doors in 1965 as a small community bank called Falls Federal Savings and Loan Association in International Falls, Minnesota. The business grew over the next thirty years to include branches in Florida. Then, in the early 1990s, a group of investors led by Ron Fletcher, a veteran of the mortgage industry, purchased the company.

Mr. Fletcher and President and CEO Fred Stelter set about creating a path for the future. The company began doing business as InterBank. Under its new leadership, the bank grew exponentially. Today, InterBank is owned by the Fletcher family and is among the largest community banks in Minnesota, with nearly $1 billion in assets. As the company continues to grow, it remains true to the vision of its leaders: To serve the community and its employees with integrity, optimism and creativity.
